Annual high school trip visits the Historic Triangle in Virginia
The annual RCA high school trip headed east this year to visit Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown, VA (also known as the Historic Triangle). This year’s outing included stops at Colonial Williamsburg, the historic Jamestown settlement and museum and the Yorktown museum and battlefield as well as the Revolutionary War Museum.
Additional activities included visiting the College of William and Mary, a banquet at Doraldo’s Italiano Ristorante and evening worship times highlighted by “Senior Sharing Night” on the last evening of the trip.
The curriculum of Rhea County Academy includes high school travel experiences. Locations are chosen because of the opportunities students have for visiting historical sites, seeing scientific endeavors, and enjoying cultural experiences.
