Rhea County Academy Teams Cap Off Strong Seasons
The Rhea County Academy girls' volleyball and basketball teams wrapped up another exciting and competitive season, highlighted by standout performances on the court. The varsity volleyball team made a deep run in the National Association of Christian Athletes (NACA) national tournament, earning an impressive second-place finish. Meanwhile, the Junior Varsity squad dominated their competition, securing the championship title in the Southern Christian Athletic Association (SCAA) year-end tournament.
On the basketball court, the girls' team faced tough competition and made an early exit from the league tournament, but the boys' team kept their postseason hopes alive. The Warriors advanced to the semifinals of the SCAA tournament, showcasing grit and determination. They carried that momentum into the NACA Open Invitational Tournament, where they battled their way to a runner-up finish, adding another trophy to the school's growing collection.
