Young Lady Warriors win Knoxville Christian Invitational JV tournament

The Lady Warriors volleyball team went into the Knoxville Christian JV tournament undermanned but were still able to come away with the tournament championship vs the Bledsoe County high school JV.  Since only 5 players made the trip to Knoxville, the Lady Warriors had to pick up two seventh grade Knoxville Christian players to complete their roster.  In spite of only having 3 high school players, the Lady Warriors were able to beat both the Bledsoe County and Sequoyah teams in pool play while losing one match to Knoxville Christian.

Upon entering the single elimination tournament play as the #3 seed the Lady Warriors avenged their earlier loss to Knoxville Christian in pool play.  That set up the championship game against Bledsoe County.  After dropping the first set to Bledsoe, the Lady Warriors fought back to win the second set and continued their momentum by winning the 3rd and final set to clinch the championship.

Congratulations Lady Warriors!

  • RCA brings to my mind thoughts of grace, love and family. My family has been blessed to meet and know other families that attended before our kids enrolled. By His grace, we learned of the school and the wonderful environment it was. The love that is poured out for the kids, and by the kids, is amazing. Being a part of RCA is truly like being a part of a family. I feel that my child is treated not just as a student, but a part of a family, part of the Body of Christ. Knowing the love, care and instruction that he receives is a true blessing. — RCA Parent Read more
