Young Warriors Soccer team begins season slowly

The Rhea County Academy soccer team has a lot of new faces this year.  After losing 10 starter over the past 2 years there are a lot of opportunities for new players this year.  While there are a record number of players this year (19) only 4 are returning starters from last year.  This has led to team mates having to get acquainted with each other while also learning to play together as a team.

While the results have so far been mixed with an early 1-2 record heading into district play, the soccer Warriors are hopeful of putting together a winning season.

The next Warriors soccer home game is at Ft. Bluff at 6pm on Friday, September 2nd.
